About Us

Your Trusted Partner in Auckland Property Maintenance & Renovation

Established in 2006 by brothers Stuart and Warwick Shearer, The Maintenance Guys has grown into a leading provider of comprehensive maintenance and renovation services, specialising in Auckland’s Central Business District (CBD) and surrounding suburbs.

With a foundation built on hands-on experience and a passion for craftsmanship, we are dedicated to delivering reliable, efficient, and high-quality solutions tailored to the unique needs of apartment living.

Our Journey

Inspired by a childhood spent assisting their father with various repair projects, Stuart and Warwick developed a deep appreciation for problem-solving and technical work.

Stuart honed his skills during two years of military service in the Navy, managing on-board workshop operations, followed by a joinery apprenticeship upon returning to New Zealand.

Warwick gained valuable experience overseas, working on construction sites in the Florida Keys and with a painter/decorator in Maine, before joining forces with Stuart to establish The Maintenance Guys.

Our Mission

We are committed to enhancing the value and comfort of Auckland CBD apartments through meticulous maintenance and thoughtful renovations. Our goal is to provide hassle-free, end-to-end services that minimise downtime and maximise return on investment for property owners and tenants alike.
